Micro Finance

Farming. Planting plantain suckers on Strongman's farm.Very small no-interest loans have been given to 10 women in Juaso to support their micro-business efforts. As additional funds are donated, AACO will expand this program to offer small loans to parents of Jubilee Senior High School students to help them restart or expand their income-earning ventures. Part of the goal is to help parents improve their economic situation enough that they can afford to pay a portion of the costs for their children to attend the high school, thus helping the high school become more self-sustaining. One enterprising young man, Ebeneezer, who was previously awarded a small loan from AACO, so successfully used the funds to expand his farm that he is currently building a four-bedroom house on his property.  Due to his success, he now has access to more funds so he can expand his farm.
